Digital Civic Platform interface preview

01. The Challenge

From Fragmentation to Centralization

Community directories and event platforms often suffer from information overload and fragmented navigation. The objective was to design a centralized hub that accommodates diverse civic initiatives and dynamic event schedules without compromising usability.

TThe interface needed to be multi-lingual, highly legible, and easy to navigate for users with varying levels of digital literacy, all while maintaining a strict, professional aesthetic.

02. The Process

Rooted in "engineering aesthetics," the UI strips away unnecessary elements, relying on a perfect grid, 1px lines, and stark typography to establish absolute visual order.

To further enhance the user experience and make interactions feel fluid, I incorporated smooth, purpose-driven micro-animations throughout the platform.

03. Implementation

I built the foundation on Webflow, integrating custom HTML/CSS/JS where necessary to ensure a fast, scalable, and tailored experience.

I engineered a robust CMS so the site manager can effortlessly update dynamic content, alongside an interactive map that instantly routes users to various community locations.
